Biography
Jeannette Vaccaro joined Busse & Hunt as an associate in 2009. She represents employees in the firm's state and federal practice in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle blowing, wrongful discharge, family medical leave, fraud, unpaid wages, unemployment benefits, public accommodations and housing.
Prior to attending law school, Jeannette worked as an environmental consultant. In 2001, she received a commendation from U.S. EPA for her work on regional hazardous waste reporting issues.
During law school, Jeannette served as president of the Women's Law Caucus and as an associate editor for Environmental Law. Jeannette won the best brief award and best oral argument awards in her first year legal writing class and her second year moot court class. She went on to win the schools Moot Court: Mock Trial competition and finished as a semi-finalist in the regional competition in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Upon graduation, Jeannette was admitted into the Cornelius Honor's Society. Throughout law school, Jeannette assisted her father with his criminal defense practice in Hillsboro, Oregon.
